Responsibilities

  • Provide consultative support to mid-to-large brand and performance advertisers to earn trust and help achieve business goals during transitional periods.
  • Sell solutions to new and existing advertising customers using knowledge of digital advertising; educate clients and provide consultative, data-driven insights.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and partner teams to ensure advertisers achieve business goals.
  • Drive revenue by building relationships, delivering sales and customer service, and developing tailored advertising plans.
  • Lead new business deals to closure with data-driven insights; utilize sales CRM tools to measure progress.
  • Solve ambiguous problems, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful campaign delivery.
  • Develop annual brand plans and targeted campaign media strategies; surface insights from first- and third-party data and educate clients accordingly.
  • Provide in-depth data analysis and actionable recommendations for future campaigns.
  • Possibility of up to 20% domestic travel (approximately 1 trip per month) and up to 2 times annually for global travel.

A day in the life

As an Adapt Rapid Response Seller, your day spans client relationship management, strategic campaign development, and data-driven insights. You may start by aligning with a key client on goals, then work cross-functionally to curate a tailored advertising strategy. You’ll deepen clients’ understanding of campaign performance, identify growth opportunities, and provide agile support to a portfolio of accounts.

About the team

The Amazon Adapt team supports the Global Amazon Ads Organization during gaps in business coverage due to leaves of absence, roles to be hired, and unexpected movement. The team aims to provide customer-centric coverage and exceed expectations during periods of transition. This role may support various categories / verticals and offers a fast-paced environment with continual opportunities to learn and develop skills.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of sales experience
  • 1+ years of selling advertising or advertising-like services experience
  • Experience with online productivity tools such as Office 365, Salesforce or similar software
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of selling advertising or advertising-like services experience
  • Experience building new customer relationships
  • Experience working cross-functionally with a wide range of employees with different skill sets
  • Experience in the advertising, media, or agency landscape with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales revenue goals
