Project Manager - Capital Markets

<p>Botsford Associates is seeking an experienced Intermediate Project Manager to support a technology rollout initiative within a leading financial services institution. This role will focus on coordinating across Front Office, Middle Office, and Back Office teams as part of the implementation of a new Credit Workflow Tool for credit applications and approvals.</p><p><br></p><p>The Project Manager will work directly with the consulting firm, managing project execution in both Agile and Waterfall environments. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional with a strong background in finance, lending, and credit-related front office tools.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Coordinate across Front Office, Middle Office, and Back Office stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.</li><li>Support the rollout of a new Credit Workflow Tool for credit applications and approvals.</li><li>Collaborate with technology teams and business stakeholders to manage project deliverables, dependencies, and milestones.</li><li>Drive Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) while also managing traditional project governance in a hybrid Agile/Waterfall model.</li><li>Track progress, risks, and issues; escalate and resolve where needed to maintain project timelines.</li><li>Prepare and deliver clear project documentation, updates, and reports for senior stakeholders.</li><li>Partner closely with the consulting firm to align execution with client expectations and strategic objectives.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>5–10 years of project management experience within financial services.</li><li>Strong background in finance and lending, with experience working on credit tools, applications, or approvals systems.</li><li>Proven ability to manage projects using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.</li><li>Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience coordinating across Front, Middle, and Back Office.</li><li>Strong communication and organizational skills; able to translate between business and technology teams.</li><li>Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project, Confluence, or similar).</li><li>Prior consulting or vendor management experience is a plus.</li></ul><p></p>
