Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist

Job Summary

This role involves providing employment planning services to clients, conducting transferable skills assessments and vocational evaluations, as well as job search training. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the local labour market and be able to provide effective support to individuals seeking to re-enter the workforce.

Main Responsibilities:

• Completing employment planning for injured or disabled individuals
• Conducting transferrable skills assessments and vocational evaluations
• Providing job search training and support

Requirements:

• University degree in psychology, education, kinesiology, health sciences, or rehabilitation
• Minimum 2 years experience in vocational rehabilitation, including employment planning, career counselling, and job placement
• Related professional designation (RRP, CVP, MCVP, CCRC, CRC, CVRP, CCVE) or eligibility to obtain designation
• Experience with vocational assessments is an asset
