Manager of Human Resources id-1290

📋 Description

• The HR Manager role provides strategic partnership and hands on support for various Human Resources activities across designated portfolios. • Work closely with the corporate HR Team, diagnosing issues and opportunities, driving initiatives to execute plans. • Lead activities and projects in areas including employee relations, training and talent management. • Oversee and manage 2-3 Human Resource team members. • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances and/or other issues. • Provide advice, guidance and support in areas related to performance management, recruitment, employment legislation, company policies, compensation, retention, and conflict resolution. • Ensure new hires experience an exceptional onboarding process. • Identify and suggest opportunities for improving Human Resources processes and efficiencies. • Responsible for the identification and coordination of mandatory (Canada) training for new hires.

🎯 Requirements

• College diploma or University degree in Human Resources Management, or related field. • Professional Human Resources designation an asset. • 5 + years of progressive HR experience within Human Resources in Canada (experience in the United States would be an asset). • Solid understanding of employment legislation best practices and understanding, knowledge and application of Human Resources Management policies in Canada. • Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, experience with HRIS an asset. • Strong service/people oriented, relationship building, judgment and problem-solving skills. • Demonstrated ability to deliver results. • Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills. • Strong attention to details, organizational skills and ability to multi-task. • Ability to thrive in an environment of ambiguity and change. • Must be actioned and deadline oriented. • Excellent priority setting and problem-solving skills. • Must possess strong communication skills, presentation skills and proven ability to coach individuals. • Strong time management skills
