Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic leader to join our team as a Seasonal Lead Merchandiser. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a full and fresh environment that enhances the customer experience.

Main Accountabilities:

  • Create and implement merchandising strategies to drive sales and improve customer engagement.
  • Train and develop a team of seasonal merchandisers to achieve high standards of product display and maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate pricing and signage on all displays.
  • Monitor inventory levels and provide ordering feedback as needed.
  • Address and resolve any issues related to damaged or unsellable merchandise promptly.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in retail merchandising, preferably in a garden centre environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, minimum 2 years.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Intermediate level proficiency with apps, technology, and reporting portals.
  • A passion for gardening and outdoor living.
